About

First Tee — Triangle

First Tee — Triangle has served more than 15,000 children at locations all across the Triangle since its inception in 2004, but the one thing the organization has lacked is a place to call home – until now.

In early 2020, First Tee — Triangle acquired Triangle Golf Center, located at 12201 Leesville Road in Northwest Raleigh, with plans to develop a new Center For Youth Development.

The New Center

First Tee — Triangle Center for Youth Development will include a par-3 short course designed by world-renowned architect Gil Hanse, a driving range and short game practice area, playground, event pavilion, and classroom spaces.

The par-3 short course will offer a valuable resource to the greater Triangle community in addition to First Tee – Triangle participants as a place for beginners to learn the game, experienced players to sharpen their skills, and bonds to be formed with family & friends.

With the home base and expanded capacity, First Tee — Triangle will be able to impact the lives of an additional 800 children every year through educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

First Tee — Triangle Master Plan

The one thing that we’ve lacked from day one is a place that our kids and families can call our own. Having our own facility to call home will be very important for our kids and for the community. Thank you to our supporters for allowing us to expand on our vision and make this project a reality.
