Brooke DeHart

Class A PGA Professional

Brooke is a Class A PGA Professional with a strong background in teaching and a passion for helping others enjoy and improve at the game of golf. Over her 18+ years in the golf industry, she has taught more than 12,000 hours of private and group lessons.

Brooke believes in connecting with her students by learning about their athletic background, history with golf, and other movement-based activities. She often relates golf movements to common motions from sports or daily life, making learning more relatable and intuitive Brooke also takes time to get to know each student’s preferred learning style—whether they are more visual, verbal, or kinesthetic learners (those who learn best through feel or movement). She adapts her coaching to match how each student learns most effectively, ensuring concepts are communicated in a way that truly resonates.

Her coaching style focuses on creating a fun, encouraging, and effective learning environment. She emphasizes small, manageable swing concepts—especially for beginners or anyone undergoing a significant change—so students fully understand and buy into what they’re working on.

After each session, Brooke’s goal is for her students to leave with a clear practice plan and a couple of specific drills tailored to their goals and swing changes.

She holds certifications from TPI (Titleist Performance Institute), U.S. Kids Golf, Operation 36, TrackMan, and Swing Catalyst. A lifelong learner, Brooke regularly attends educational seminars to keep expanding her coaching toolbox.

A native of Morganton, NC, Brooke was a four-sport athlete at Freedom High School, where she was voted “Most Athletic Female.” She played collegiate golf on scholarship at Appalachian State University (2006–2010), where she served as team captain and MVP during the 2009–2010 season. She ranks 8th all-time in program history for total rounds played and graduated as a scholar-athlete.

In her professional career, Brooke has recorded several top-5 finishes in pro-am and partner events. A couple of her tournament highlights include a win at the Pine Lake Country Club Women’s Pro-Am in 2016 and a 2nd place finish at the Carolinas PGA Women’s Championship in 2022.
