First Tee — Triangle exists to enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with the life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do. To us, the most important part of our mission is to serve kids of all ages and backgrounds through the game of golf.

First Tee — Triangle was founded in 2004 as The First Tee of Wake County. After a few years of steady growth, The First Tee of Wake County became First Tee — Triangle. We proudly serve youth at six golf course facilities across the Triangle, in 18 Wake County Title I Elementary schools, and in 3 Durham County Title I Elementary Schools.  In January 2020, we became the proud owners of TriGolf driving range formerly known as Triangle Golf Complex, and broke ground on construction for our new Center for Youth Development in December of 2022. This facility will serve as First Tee — Triangle’s headquarters as well as the main hub for all youth programming.
