Louis Kelly, a native of southern New Jersey, began playing golf at the age of five. Growing up in South Jersey, he was actively involved in various sports, but it was his affiliation with the First Tee – Philadelphia that truly shaped his early development. Through this organization, Louis seized numerous opportunities, from participating in prestigious leadership academies across the nation to competing in what is now, the Pure Insurance First Tee Open at Pebble Beach. His journey is a testament to the transformative influence the First Tee program can have on young lives.
Louis pursued his academic and athletic ambitions at the University of Louisiana, earning a degree in Business Marketing while making a significant impact on the university’s golf team. Throughout his collegiate career, he achieved five tournament victories, qualified as an individual for the NCAA National Championship, and was named to the PING All-Region team in each of his first three seasons. Following his collegiate success, Louis turned professional and went on to win numerous tournaments, most notably defeating PGA Tour player Jason Gore to capture the 102nd New Jersey State Open Championship.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Louis has worked with a diverse array of golfers, ranging from Tour professionals and celebrities to beginners and kids. His expertise in biomechanics and movement, combined with his professional playing experience, enables him to help students maximize their potential and reach their golf goals.
