Nicholas Stewart, PGA

Nicholas Stewart, PGA, began playing golf at the age of 9 and is the only person in his family to play the sport, giving him a unique understanding of the challenges that come with learning the game without guidance. He has played competitive golf for 18 years, winning various local and state tournaments. Highlights of his golfing career include three holes-in-one — two at Lonnie Poole Golf Course — and two albatrosses (a six-million-to-one shot) at Western Gailes Golf Club in Scotland and Pinehurst.

Nicholas is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where he double majored in Finance and Professional Golf Management. He later earned his MBA through the Jenkins School of Management in 2025. Through the PGM program, he earned his Class A PGA certification with a specialization in golf instruction. With 12 years of experience in the golf industry, he has had the privilege of working at prestigious clubs such as The Philadelphia Cricket Club, The John’s Island Club, and Trump National Bedminster.

In addition to his professional experience, Nicholas has dedicated the past five years to volunteering and mentoring with First Tee — Triangle. As a coach for two classes, he has directly impacted the development of young golfers. His involvement also includes serving on the Game Changers Council, where he contributes to shaping the future of the program. In 2023, he was honored as the organization’s Volunteer of the Year.

Nicholas has provided over 1,000 lessons to juniors, beginners, weekend warriors, single-digit handicappers, and college golfers. He is excited to teach at TriGolf and looks forward to helping students improve their game while enhancing their enjoyment of golf.

Students will also receive a personalized lesson recap, swing videos, and a structured practice routine after each lesson to help reinforce concepts and maximize improvement between sessions.

Rates:
Adults: $100/hour
Juniors (under 18): $75/hour

Packages:
3 lessons for $270
5 lessons for $400

Group lessons are also available on a case-by-case basis.

Students are responsible for purchasing a bucket of balls upon arrival at TriGolf.

Packages must be used within six months of purchase.
